Billing/Account Management

Billing and account oversight doesn’t have to be YOUR job. A third party billing service is used to run your claims and we manage any billing or account issues. Insurance coverage questions, out of pocket fees, updating credit cards or insurance information, managing claims issues – that’s our job. The billing platform is integrated into your EHR so you have real time, transparent access to all revenue, accounts and claims status data. All revenue goes directly to you and we invoice monthly.

Integrated EHR

The perfect EHR probably doesn’t exist, actually we know it doesn’t because we’ve looked at a ton and we know that each individual practice has different needs. We worked to find the best foundational system from which Emote could fill in any shortcomings. In our research and personal experience we found that lab and fax integration, a well developed communications platform and customizable forms really help with workflow and efficiency.

Telepsychiatry

Thinking of adding telepsychiatry to your practice? Our package includes a telepsychiatry platform. There are numerous legal issues to consider and telepsychiatry laws are ever evolving and differ state to state. While we can’t offer legal advice, we can make sure you’re aware of potential issues so that you can offer your services professionally, legally and with integrity.

Admin Support and Beyond!

A trusting relationship with your administrative and management staff can be foundational to a robust and enjoyable practice. Our experienced practice managers work with a limited number of clinicians. This allows them to have a personal relationship with you, integrate with and optimize your business. From those quick phone calls to a pharmacy needing clarification on a script to discussing out of pocket fees to a disgruntled patient, your practice manager takes it on.

We do the work, but you’re in control. You choose who can schedule and when. You control your clinic hours, time off and everything in between. We make sure it happens. Your practice manager learns your intake process and patient preferences to make sure you’re seeing who you want, when you want. We work to fill in scheduling gaps to optimize your clinic days and when your practice is full we will also manage your waitlist.

Handling prior authorizations, refills and records requests can be time consuming. Your practice manager provides support and follow up needed to make these tasks less burdensome.

Ever find yourself not communicating with a patient’s therapist or primary care provider as much as you should? Having trouble coordinating care with other providers? Your practice manager will coordinate and schedule these consults for you at your request. Better communication means better, safer care.
